FAQ
Booking & Visit
Why is a deposit of THB 1,000 per person required?
The deposit confirms your booking and reserves the staff and treatment room for you. Each program takes a considerable amount of time, so the spa needs to prepare in advance.
The deposit will be deducted from the service fee on the appointment date. Rescheduling and cancellation are subject to the spa’s policy. For example, the deposit will not be refunded in the event of a no-show or if notice is not provided at least three days in advance.
How far in advance should I book, or can I walk in?
We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. You can make a booking or check availability through Instagram, LINE, WhatsApp, or by phone via our “Contact Us” page.
To provide a private and relaxing experience, each branch accepts only 6–8 guests per time slot. Appointments from Friday to Monday tend to fill up quickly, while Tuesday to Thursday generally has more availability. However, if you have a specific date and time in mind, we recommend booking in advance.
Walk-ins are welcome when appointments are available, but we cannot guarantee service without an advance booking.
Please note that a non-refundable deposit of THB 1,000 per person is required to confirm your booking.
Does the spa have private rooms?
All treatment rooms at both branches are private rooms.
At the Gaysorn Amarin branch, Head Spa treatments take place in private rooms. Blow-drying is provided in a private area, with curtains separating each chair.
At the EM TOWER (EMSPHERE) branch, each private room also has its own blow-dry station.

Head Spa
Which program can help with dandruff?
We recommend the Signature Scalp Program.
There are two main factors associated with dandruff: excess oil on the scalp, which can encourage the growth of certain types of fungus associated with dandruff, and a weakened immune system caused by chronic illness, stress, or lack of sleep.
The Signature Scalp Program includes a deep-cleansing Scalp Detox. This step helps remove excess oil, buildup, and dead skin cells from the scalp, which can help reduce oiliness and dandruff.
The Hair Growth Booster step nourishes the scalp and is paired with a relaxing head massage to support circulation. It also has antimicrobial properties that may help address the cause of dandruff.
However, dandruff will not disappear after a single Head Spa session. Improvement takes time, other contributing factors must also be managed, and consistent care is needed for lasting results.
Can pregnant women have a Head Spa treatment?
Please consult your doctor and follow their advice first. In general, you may be able to have a Head Spa treatment if you can lie comfortably on your back for at least 40–50 minutes without discomfort.
Our spa uses vegan products made with naturally derived ingredients, including essential oils. Although there is no medical evidence that these ingredients are harmful, some individuals may be sensitive to concentrated extracts. For your comfort and safety, we recommend avoiding treatment if you have any concerns.
Can children have a Head Spa treatment?
Yes, but our spa does not provide treatments for children under eight years old. For children aged eight or above who do not have dandruff or an unpleasant scalp odour, the Siesta Relaxing Program is sufficient. This program includes a relaxing hair wash and brief hair nourishment over a short period of time.
If a child begins to experience scalp issues such as itching, an unpleasant or musty odour, or dandruff, we recommend adding the Siesta Relaxing Program with the DETOX add-on, or the Signature Scalp Program.
What type of scalp spa experience does Siesta Head Spa and Salon offer?
Siesta Head Spa and Salon offers a Head Spa experience that combines scalp and hair treatments made with naturally derived ingredients and Siesta’s signature Thai massage techniques, which draw on traditional Thai practices. The massage focuses on pressure points that stimulate blood circulation around the scalp, neck, and shoulders, helping to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the area. These techniques may help ease stress and reduce hair loss, while supporting healthier hair during the growth phase (Anagen Phase), helping it stay strong and remain in this phase longer.
Our services and treatment steps are carefully designed. We avoid unnecessary equipment, use high-quality extracts and products, and follow guidance from trichologists and dermatologists.
In summary, Siesta Head Spa and Salon offers a Head Spa experience that combines Thai wisdom with complementary science, with a focus on products made from natural extracts.
Can men have a Head Spa treatment?
Absolutely. Head Spa treatments are suitable for all genders because the program is selected according to each person’s scalp condition, hair, and needs. Whether you want help caring for an oily, dry, or itchy scalp, or simply want to relax, you can enjoy a Head Spa treatment.
Can people with baldness or very little hair have a Head Spa treatment?
Yes. People with little hair or no hair in some areas can still have a Head Spa treatment for scalp cleansing and relaxation. Our staff will adjust the treatment steps as appropriate.
Which program can help with an itchy scalp?
We recommend the Signature Scalp Program with a Scalp Detox formula selected for your scalp condition.
A Head Spa can help keep the scalp clean and comfortable, but it is not a medical treatment. If you have severe itching, wounds, discharge, a spreading rash, or ongoing symptoms, please consult a dermatologist.
Can a Head Spa help reduce hair loss?
A Head Spa does not directly treat hair loss. However, it can support scalp health by removing oil and buildup that may interfere with the hair follicles. Siesta Head Spa’s massage techniques may also support circulation in the scalp. Together, these steps help create a suitable environment for hair growth and overall scalp health.
If I have hair loss, how often should I have a Head Spa treatment to see results?
If you are experiencing hair loss, you may begin with one or two sessions per month, together with consistent care at home. However, the time needed to notice a change will vary depending on the cause of hair loss, your health, genetics, and lifestyle.
A Head Spa helps maintain scalp cleanliness and a healthy scalp environment, but it cannot treat every cause of hair loss. If you are experiencing unusually heavy, patchy, or ongoing hair loss, please consult a doctor to identify the cause.
How often should I have a Head Spa treatment?
In general, you can have a Head Spa treatment every two to four weeks, or one to two times per month, depending on your scalp condition, lifestyle, and the products you regularly use.
If your scalp becomes oily easily, you often use styling products, or you have product buildup, more frequent care may be suitable at first. Our staff can recommend a schedule based on your individual needs.
If my hair is very dry, will it feel softer after one Head Spa treatment?
After one session, your hair may immediately feel softer, smoother, and easier to style, especially when you choose a treatment suited to dry or damaged hair. However, the extent and duration of the results depend on the hair’s existing damage, previous chemical treatments, and your care routine at home.
For very dry or damaged hair, consistent care usually provides better results than a single treatment.
What is the difference between a Scalp Spa and a Hair Spa?
A Scalp Spa focuses mainly on the health of the scalp and hair roots. It may include deep scalp cleansing, removal of buildup, scalp nourishment, and a relaxing massage.
A Hair Spa focuses on conditioning the hair, such as adding moisture, caring for dry or damaged hair, and helping it look softer and healthier.
Siesta Head Spa cares for both the scalp and hair through a complete Head Spa experience that combines scalp care, hair nourishment, and deep relaxation in one program.
Can I have a Head Spa treatment if I have hair extensions?
Yes, but please tell our staff what type of extensions you have and where they are attached before the treatment begins. This allows us to avoid pulling, scratching, or applying pressure around the attachment points. If your extensions were fitted recently, please ask your extension stylist how many days you should wait, as different materials and extension methods have different restrictions.
Can I have a Head Spa treatment if I have coloured hair?
Yes. We can select products and treatment steps that are gentle on coloured hair. Please tell our staff when your hair was coloured and what type of colour was used, especially if it was done recently, so we can avoid steps that may cause the colour to fade more quickly.
Can I have a Head Spa treatment if I have chemically straightened hair?
Yes, but please tell our staff when your hair was straightened and what type of chemical treatment was used. This allows us to select suitable treatments and adjust the massage or blow-drying method as needed.
If I have recently had my hair straightened, how long should I wait before washing it or having a treatment?
Please follow your hairstylist’s advice on how long to wait before washing your hair or having a treatment.
After my Head Spa treatment, do I need to pay extra for hair washing or styling?
No. The listed price includes blow-drying and styling.
However, an additional fee applies if a guest with curly hair would like their hair straightened with a flat iron or blow-dried straight before curling.
How long does a Head Spa treatment take?
The total treatment time is approximately 70–120 minutes, depending on the selected program and hair length. Please see our website for details.
Does a Head Spa consist only of a head massage?
No. A Siesta Head Spa includes several steps, as well as blow-drying and hairstyling. The exact steps vary depending on the selected program.
Is Siesta's Thai massage the same as a traditional Thai massage?
Siesta’s Thai massage focuses on relaxation and comfort. It does not involve forceful twisting, stretching, or pressure that causes pain. Our staff adjust the pressure and massage techniques to suit each guest’s body.
You can ask the therapist at any time to use lighter or firmer pressure, or to avoid a particular area.
Do you offer keratin treatments?
We do not currently offer keratin treatments because many keratin treatments on the market use more chemicals than necessary and may not be safe for your health.
How should I care for an oily scalp?
If your scalp becomes oily easily, proper care involves more than simply washing your hair more often. The scalp should be cleansed correctly to reduce excess oil, buildup, and dead skin cells that may affect its natural balance.
In addition to choosing suitable products, a Head Spa performed by a scalp-care specialist can provide more complete care through deep cleansing, specialised scalp massage techniques, and treatments selected for the individual.
At Siesta Head Spa, we believe a healthy scalp begins with the right care. A suitable scalp massage not only helps you relax but may also reduce built-up tension and support a healthier environment for the scalp and hair over time.
What should I do about an itchy scalp?
An itchy scalp may be caused by oiliness, dirt buildup, or dryness. A Scalp Detox and gentle scalp care can help remove buildup and soothe the scalp.
Why is scalp health important for the hair?
An itchy scalp can have several causes, including excess oil, dirt and product buildup, dryness, or an imbalance in the scalp’s condition. Appropriate care should begin with correct cleansing and restoring the scalp’s balance.
A Scalp Detox or Head Spa performed by a specialist can help remove buildup while gently nourishing and soothing the scalp. Specialised scalp massage techniques can also promote relaxation, reduce tension, and support overall scalp health.
